The problem
A personal finance tool that started for one household had to become a product: many separate accounts, sign-up, an admin view, and private data that stays private.
The app tracks money the way a careful person does: every account, card, loan, subscription and shared expense, with the history behind each number.
What was built
- Multi-tenant accounts with sign-up and an admin area for users
- Dashboards with drill-down from every headline figure to the transactions behind it
- Recurring payments, subscriptions, loans, receivables and write-offs
- A zero-knowledge vault for credentials and an encrypted journal, each with its own master password
- A read-only connector so an AI assistant can answer questions about the finances
- Light and dark themes, and private file storage with expiring links
Care
It has been in daily use since launch and is changed in small steps almost every week, which is exactly what a care plan looks like in practice.
